Cross Country
Cross Country is a Fall sport and training begins in the summer months prior to school starting. Meets begin in August, and the season ends with the state meet which is typically late November. The Woodlands College Park Running Lady Cavaliers has both Junior Varsity and Varsity Cross Country teams. Junior Varsity athletes most often compete in a 2 mile race, and Varsity athletes compete in a 5k race.
track & field
Track & Field is a Spring sport, and training begins shortly after the Cross Country season ends. The season typically runs February through May. The Woodlands College Park Running Lady Cavaliers has both Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. The Track & Field team is a diverse group of athletes, with many of the athletes also participating in other sports teams throughout the year, such as basketball, soccer, wrestling, and swimming.

The success of the Running Lady Cavaliers depends on our generous sponsors.
Each year, the cross-country team at College Park advances onto the Regional Meet and many qualify for State every year. This year in 2025/26, we will have around 30 teams from all over Texas competing in the Regional meet! We need your help to cover the costs for transportation & room/board. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
